Eneos to invest in four solar plants in Japan with Mizuho Leasing

The renewable energy company Eneos and Mizuho Leasing are all set to jointly invest in four solar plants in Japan.

The plants have a combined capacity of 57MW, according to the companies.

It has been reported that the plants have been operational for a few years.

According to Eneos, one of the solar plants is 7.2MW Aomori solar power plant which had its commercial operations date in September 2019. The plant is located in Towada City, Aomori Prefecture.

Similarly, next is the 26.7MW Iwaki solar power plant in Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture with operations in 2018. Likewise, there is 11MW Hamada No 1 solar power plant in Hamada City, Shimane Prefecture since 2015 and 12MW Hamada No 2 solar power plant commercial operations in March 2017.

According to Eneos, it has a portfolio comprising 22 solar plants. Besides, it has two onshore wind farms and one biomass-fired energy facility.
