A leading Chinese PV company GCL System Integration Technology is all set to launch a project in Brazil. GCL SI will supply 71MW solar modules for this project.
The company will work together with a global renewable energy generator Atlas Renewable Energy with an expected full capacity of 250MW.
The project named as Casa Blanca is located in Bahia of Brazil.
It has been informed that the Casa Blanca project has adopted the Company's 182mm Bifacial modules. The project is expected to generate 630 million kWh of electricity in a year.
Lin He, General Manager of GCL SI America, was quoted in a report, "Since 2018, we've built large solar power plants together in a number of countries, including Brazil and Mexico, and we've had our projects successfully connect to the local power grid while ensuring the projects' quality, power generation volume and returns."
The project is expected to be fully constructed by the end of this year.
According to GCL SI, it will "continue to advance the distribution of its high-efficiency products."
The company informed that by the end of this year, the production capacity of GCL SI is set to reach 20GW.
