Juwi Shizen Energy Inc announced the commercial operation of a 20-MW/24-MWp solar PV project in Japan.
Tokyo-based renewables contractor informed that the PVproject reached the operation late last year.
The Kesennuma Shimoyogai Solar Power Plant is located in Japan's Miyagi prefecture.
The plant is spread in an area of 48 hectares in Kesennuma city. According to the company, it expects the "PV park to generate almost 27.8 MWh per year, enough to meet the consumption of about 8,760 homes."
It has been reported that Juwi Shizen Energy Operation will perform operation and maintenance services of the project.
According to juwi Shizen Energy, it has built 425 MWp of solar farms. It informed that the works on working on 298 MWp of combined capacity is underway.
