Spanish company supplies inverters for 210 MWp solar farms in Brazil

Spanish electrical engineering company Ingeteam SA announced that it supplied inverters for two solar projects with a total capacity of 210 MWp in Brazil.


Besides, the company also supplied substations for the project. The inverters were made at its factory in Brazil itself.


Brazilian renewable energy company Mercury Renew received the shipment of 108 inverters and 32 substations. It has been informed that the shipment will be used for the 80-MWp Brigida and the 130-MWp Bon Nome solar farms.


The plants are based in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco under a solar power complex.


According to Ingeteam, as per the agreement, it supplied 32 substations or power stations of the INGECON SUN MSK model.


The model comprises different "solar inverters, power transformer, medium voltage switchgear, auxiliary services panel and auxiliary services transformer."
